Maxsold Incorporated, a company incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act (“Maxsold”/“we”/”us”/“our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We make the auction website, (the “Website”) available together with our services as further described on the Website and in our Terms and Conditions (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use and distribute Personal Information (as defined in Collection of Information below) about users (including, but not limited to, bidders, buyers and seller of auctioned goods) through the Website and Services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of any third parties (such as third-party sellers through the Website). A Note About Children.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, and the Website is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not intentionally gather Personal Information from visitors who are under the age of 18. If we have actual knowledge that Personal Information of a child under 18 is received by us, we will use commercially reasonable measures to delete the information as soon as possible. If you believe that we might have any Personal Information of a child under 18, please contact us at and provide us with whatever information we require to identify the Personal Information to be deleted.

A Note to Visitors or Users Outside of Canada.

This Privacy Policy applies to any individual participating in the listing, management, and fulfilment of any transaction through, or a visitor to, the Website if such individual is in Canada. By visiting the Website and providing us with data, you acknowledge and agree that your Personal Information may be processed for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. In addition, your Personal Information may also be processed in other countries, where the laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less (or more) stringent than the laws of Canada.

Consent: By using the Website or our Services you consent to the use of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy. We will not, in particular, actively collect Personal Information for the purpose of publicly marketing our Services in a way that specifically identifies you. In other words, we do not sell customer lists. Collection of Information: We aim to collect, use and disclose only such Personal Information as is required to enable us to manage your account with us, to provide the Services, to maintain our customer/visitor lists, to respond to your inquiries or provide feedback, for identification and authentication purposes, for service improvement and for other legitimate business purposes. Two types of information may be collected through the Website and our Services: Personal Information and Non-Personal Information. This Privacy Policy does not extend to the collection, use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information (as defined further below).

"Personal Information" is personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information, birth date and gender. At the time of collection, this Privacy Policy will, among other things, identify the information being collected and the purposes for which it will be used. Important Exceptions: We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties (including, but not limited to, law enforcement or other governmental authorities), without your consent or notification to you, (1) upon the request of law enforcement or other government authorities, (2) if we believe in good faith that such information (a) is helpful in, or otherwise relevant to, preventing, mitigating, terminating, prosecuting or taking any other action with respect to a possible crime or civil claim, or (b) relates to any damage or injury to, interference with or other adverse effect on any right or property of another, or (3) if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is required by any court order, subpoena or other similar mandate or any applicable law.

Security: The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We use commercially reasonable technical, contractual, administrative, and physical security measures to store and maintain your Personal Information in a secure environment. We have implemented procedures designed to limit the dissemination of your Personal Information to only such designated staff as are reasonably necessary for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy.

In certain cases, such as when you provide credit card or other payment information to us, the Website helps protect the security of some of your Personal Information during transmission by using industry-standard encryption technology.
